some cute kids

For resurrection Sunday the kids all got gift bags then we headed over to my sisters house to spend the day. We did our traditional egg hunt and Kat was the lucky five dollar egg winner. David read to us from the Bible of Jesus death and ressurection we had some yummy food and good fellowship, it was a good day!

the surprise!

For Easter the kids planned a special surprise. They pick some stories from the Bible and turned then into three short plays they wrote lines and put together their customs and even had a program. They did Daniel in the lions den, Jesus feeding the hungry crowd and in the fiery furnace, each child had a part that they did their best to memorize, they all did very good and made our Easter celebration even more special.

there was some left over bell pepper sitting on the counter and kyah decided to give it a try, and i think she liked it cause she sat there and ate it like and apple yummy!another thing on kyahs like list is mushrooms especial if they have been soaked in liqued aminos and olive oil.

BEANS!

We made homemade re fried beans in the crock pot (just another attempt to limit our can goods and preprocessed foods) so after the beans cooked all day long they needed to be mashed so i called in my mashing crew kyah and marque and they got the job done and they thought it was fun kyah quiet enjoyed sneaking bites here and there then we jarred them up. When everyone got a taste the kids said yeah there good they taste just like the "real ones" hhmmm imagine that!

TEA!!

Arieana got a pretty tea set for her birthday and had been really Itch`n to use it (for a REAL tea party) so we all were invited to the kitchen table for a tea party hosted by the lovely Arieana she served egg sandwhiches cut in triangles and chips yummy rasberry tea and for dessert peanutbutter bon bons on a oreo! yum
